Sports Premium

At Kings Oak Primary, we are committed to ensuring all pupils lead healthy, active lifestyles. The PE and Sport Premium funding is used to improve the quality of physical education, increase participation in sport, and promote physical and mental well-being for all children.

We use this funding to:

• Provide high-quality PE teaching through specialist coaching and staff training

• Increase opportunities for pupils to take part in a wide range of sports and physical activities

• Encourage healthy competition through intra- and inter-school events

• Support inclusive participation so all pupils, including those who are less active or disadvantaged, can engage in sport

• Improve physical resources and equipment to enhance PE lessons and extracurricular clubs

The impact of our Sports Premium spending is regularly reviewed to ensure it results in sustained improvements to pupils’ fitness, confidence, skills, and enjoyment of physical activity. Our aim is to equip children with the motivation and skills they need to remain active and healthy throughout their lives.
