Please be aware that this week Year 2 are doing their SATs.  They are also involved in other forms of assessment. 

It’s a really important time in school with most year groups doing or approaching assessments.

We understand that sometimes children are ill. If they are too poorly to come to school, of course they should stay at home.  Otherwise, it is crucial children have good school attendance.  Good attendance is over 96%.  When children are absent from school it’s possible that they miss out on something important that they need to take on to further learning.

Please try your upmost to bring your child/children to school every day and on time.  This really will give them the very best opportunity to thrive at school, equipping them with skills to carry through life.
