Dear Parents / Carers,

Just a small reminder about our litter pick event which is happening this Friday (12th April). Our Foundation Stage 2 children have now begun their topic of growing and changing. The children are going to be learning about the different ways materials and ways that they can take care of their local environment. As part of our learning, we will be visiting our local park to carry out a litter pick during the first week back at school after the Easter holidays. Our Nursery children will also be taking part in a litter pick but this will be on our school premises.

Before the holidays, your child will have returned home with a sponsorship form for this event. We are hoping to raise a little bit of money to help improve the resources we have in our outdoor area. Any sponsorship, no matter how big or small will be very gratefully appreciated. If you could please bring this back to school on or before Friday that would be brilliant. We can't thank you enough for the support you give us with all of our events and we look forward to helping to tidy up our local environment on Friday!
