A number of you have contacted us with your concerns about the journey into school this morning, blaming us for the situation on the neighbouring streets. We share your concerns and we too were very disappointed at the lack of gritting on Wells Lane and other local roads. We constantly bring this to the attention of the council and did expect this to be done. We would welcome any support in contacting highways and adding public concerns.

The playground is the responsibility of PFI who have informed us that they can only do walk ways into classroom. Our caretaker worked hard to ensure there were paths for the children to come in safely. We regularly risk assess the playground and children will be having indoor playtimes unless we deem it safe to play out.
