BARNSLEY’S FREE BUS TRAVEL FOR UNDER 18S

Barnsley Micard provides free bus travel for under 18s within south Yorkshire, as long as you are a Barnsley resident and your journey starts or ends in the Barnsley local area.

The initiative is part of the great childhood ambition- Barnsley councils’ commitment to improving the lives and futures of our children and young people.

Free bus travel will help families save money, along with creating independence to older children.

There is also TSY mobile app that can be downloaded with Live bus times and real time on map, journey planner, and how to buy tickets.

The applications are easy, and a photo will need to be uploaded at the time of application.
