Dear Parents / Carers,

Please be reminded that it is our rearranged sponsored litter pick next Tuesday (9th June)! We would love for as many parents, grandparents or carers to join us on our sponsored litter pick and help clean up Wombwell Park with your child.

We are really excited to announce that we have been able to rearrange the litter pick at Wombwell Park for Tuesday 9th June and we will be leaving school at 1:00pm prompt. Please be aware that the Hough Lane gate will be closed so entrance for all adults will be via the car park side of school, please arrive in good time! *Please note, if you signed up previously, you don't need to do so again. If you can't make the new date and had already signed up, please let a member of the FS team know as soon as possible.

We have been in touch with the Wombwell Park association and the Barnsley Community Team and they are sending a delegation to come and help us tidy up our local community. We will be taking photos to upload to Tapestry throughout our litter picking experience and the local area team may wish to use some of them for their social media platforms. If you do not want your child to be included in the photos sent over to them please let a member of staff know as soon as possible.

We will be collecting any sponsorship money by the 12th June. Please remember that any donation of any amount is greatly received and appreciated and will go towards improving our outdoor resources. Thank you to those who have brought sponsorship money in already! If you need a new sponsorship form, please let a member of staff know and we will sort one out for you!
