Year 3 Trip to Stump Cross Caverns – Trip Information
We are all looking forward to our trip to Stump Cross Caverns on Tuesday 7th July.
Arrival and Return

Please ensure your child arrives at school by 8:15am, as the coach will be leaving promptly at 8:30am.

Our return coach is booked for 2:15pm, so we are expecting to arrive back at school at approximately 4:00pm. We will update you if there are any significant delays.
What to Wear and Bring

It is forecast to be warm outside, so please apply suncream before school and ensure your child brings a sun hat, as we will be eating our picnic lunch outdoors.

The caves remain a constant 7°C, so all children will need to bring a warm jacket or coat.

There are some puddles inside the caves, so please ensure your child wears sensible, comfortable footwear suitable for walking on wet surfaces.

Hard hats are required inside the caves and will be provided by the venue.
Coach Journey

As the journey is fairly long, if your child is prone to travel sickness, please administer any travel sickness medication before school if required or complete a form.

Children are welcome to bring a small colouring book, activity book, card game or a reading book to help pass the time on the coach.

Please do not send any electronic devices (tablets, handheld games consoles, etc.).
Spending Money

Children do not need to bring any spending money for the trip.
