We are committed to promoting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing to all pupils, their families, staff and governors. We hope your child will be happy, safe, achieve and enjoy the time they are with us in our Centre and that our children become well-rounded citizens in our community and the wider world. We aim to provide first quality learning and teaching experiences, through a creative curriculum, for your child to ensure they are equipped with the vital skills, knowledge and understanding to live in a forever changing world.
We welcome your cooperation in providing your child with every advantage for development within school and value parental support. Positive relationships are the key to success.
If anyone has any cause for concern about a child’s welfare or progress, we aim as soon as possible to work together with the appropriate agencies to secure your child's well-being.
We feel privileged to be the headteachers of Kings Oak Primary Learning Centre and be entrusted with your children. The team at Kings Oak Primary Learning Centre are committed to ensuring your child receives the best all-around education possible.

FOUNDATION STAGE- Wombwell Woods Walk with Parents/ Carers- On Wednesday 16th October we will be going on a walk to Wombwell Woods to look for signs of Autumn, which we will have been learning about in our topic time. Please arrive at school at 12:30pm to accompany your child on the walk, access will be through the gate next to the car park and through the FS1 side gate, we cannot let parents through the Hough Lane entrance during school hours. We will aim to get back to school in time for home time. It may be wet/muddy in the woods so please wear appropriate clothing, the children will be wearing the wet suits and wellies that we wear to forest schools. This will be a brilliant opportunity for you or a family member to take part in learning with your child and build those home-school links! If you have any questions please speak to a member of staff at pick up or drop of time. Thank you for your support, Foundation Stage Team
- YEAR 5 IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE17Oct2024
Year 5 will be having an immersive experience in school on Thursday morning. Please could the children come dressed in some comfortable old clothes and shoes that they don't mind getting dirty. We don't want to give too much away so all will be revealed on Thursday. Please bring school uniform to change into at lunchtime and a bag to put dirty old clothes into. If any parents / carers have any spades or trowels that we could borrow for the day, that would be amazing. Thank you!
