 Welcome from the Headteachers

Welcome to Kings Oak Primary.  We are proud to be an Ofsted Outstanding school at the heart of a community that is passionate about educating young people.  Our centre strives to provide the best opportunities to support the development of every child from three to eleven and promotes learning for everyone for life. We believe in forming strong partnerships with our community and providing an excellent service to enable every family and young person with the greatest opportunity to improve their life chances. We are committed to promoting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing to all pupils, their families, staff and governors. We hope your child will be happy, safe, achieve and enjoy the time they are with us in our Centre and that our children become well-rounded citizens in our community and the wider world. We aim to provide first quality learning and teaching experiences, through a creative curriculum, for your child to ensure they are equipped with the vital skills, knowledge and understanding to live in a forever changing world.

We welcome your cooperation in providing your child with every advantage for development within school and value parental support. Positive relationships are the key to success.

If anyone has any cause for concern about a child’s welfare or progress, we aim as soon as possible to work together with the appropriate agencies to secure your child's well-being.

We feel privileged to be the headteachers of Kings Oak Primary and be entrusted with your children. The team at Kings Oak Primary are committed to ensuring your child receives the best all-around education possible.

Year 4 Times Table Rockstar Day28Apr2026

We’d like to let you know that we will be holding a Times Tables Rock Stars Day on Tuesday 28th April for the children in Year 4. We’ve shared information about this in the past, and we’re excited to bring it back again! Children are invited to come to school dressed as a rock star (school-appropriate, of course). They can accessorise with things like sunglasses, headbands, temporary tattoos, microphones or even blow-up guitars. The day will be full of fun activities while also helping children strengthen their multiplication skills in preparation for the Times Tables test in June. Thank you for your support—we’re looking forward to a fantastic day!

    BEHAVIOUR POLICY CONSULTATION

Before the Easter holidays, we shared a message inviting you to take part in our behaviour policy consultation. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue with Microsoft Forms, some responses may not have been recorded. As a result, we need to re-run the consultation and kindly ask for your support once again. The consultation will begin at 12:00pm on 17th April and end at 12:00pm on the 1st May. If you previously completed the survey, we would be very grateful if you could do so again.

More information can be found in the attached letter.
